City of Stories

Your flight will transport you to stories including Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, C. S. Lewis’s Chronicles of Narnia, J. R. R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings and Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials. City of Stories is an audio-visual experience for ages 5 upwards. It lasts 25 minutes. There are regular flights throughout the day when the Museum is open. Please note the film contains flashing lights and visual effects.

Latecomers will not be able to board once the Story Craft has departed, so please be sure to check the time on your boarding pass carefully before your visit to the museum.

From 3 June - 11 July 2024, whilst we are installing a new exhibition in the Treasure Chamber, City of Stories will be included within a Galleries ticket and will be bookable on arrival at the Museum.
